Modal scarves are uniquely designed by Malgorzata at Malgorzata Design Studio and then custom printed onto modal in India. Paintings and wall compositions, as well as photographs of nature, are used for the scarves designs Modal is also called botanical silk, due to its excellent qualities. It is a luxurious, very soft, smooth and light fabric, which breathes extremely well.

MODAL is produced by spinning reconstituted cellulose, from renewable cellulosic plants such as beech trees, pine trees and bamboo, with a biodegradable fibre. LANZING MODAL® specifically used in these scarves, is produced from sustainably harvested Beech trees and the Lanzing company uses an environmentally friendly bleaching method for pulp.

The material is softer than cotton and has desirable properties that include higher resistance to shrinkage and moisture wicking. Made from 100% modal. Size: 75 x 200 cm recommend gently hand wash in lukewarm or cold water with addition of small amount of wool detergent.
